- Google has announced that by July 2022, advertisers will no longer be able to create Expanded Text Ads (ETAs) or edit existing ones in Google Ads.
- Existing ads will still be able to provide reports, as well as being paused, resumed or removed.
- This is the latest move from Google as it looks to use more automation in their ad systems, with its Responsive Search Ads (RSAs) being pushed as the replacement.
