Canadian retail ecommerce sales expected to pass US$32 billion in 2021

Retail ecommerce sales of physical goods in Canada accounted for US$29 billion in 2020 and is expected to push past $32 billion in 2021, with the forecast for 2025 is that the figure will go past $40 billion.
The statistics by Statista also show that retail ecommerce sales growth climbed 18% in 2020, a rise of over 10% from the previous year. This growth is forecast to slowly decrease after a sharp drop in 2021, going from 8.5% this year, down to 3.9% by 2025.
The estimated growth of Canadian retail ecommerce sales would see a increase of at least $2 billion each year between 2021 and 2025, having jumped up $4 billion between 2019 and 2020.
