- Twitter is testing Fleet ads, vertical format full screen adverts, on its platform. Using a 9:16 aspect ratio, each advert will be up to 30 seconds long and have a call-to-action for users to swipe up.
- Performance metrics will be available, such as impressions and site visits, to total views and quartile reporting. Twitter released statistics with 3 out of 4 users saying they liked Fleet ads after using it. Twitter has not said when the service will be widely available.
- Twitter has also announced that it is experimenting with other full-screen ad formats, with more potentially being revealed in the future. This comes as Twitter has also announced the start of its subscription service, Twitter Blue, which is only currently available in Australia and Canada.
