- A recent study by the Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB) has found that 86% of small businesses have adapted to using a new business model for alternate shopping options such as online delivery or pickup
- Many small businesses have adapted to ecommerce this year as lockdown measures have forced brick and mortar stores to close as a precaution
- The study by the CFIB also found that small business were safer to shop at then larger stores as 79% had gone beyond and above health guidelines for stores
- 90% of those surveyed found they were also able to easily and effectively limit the amount of people they had in stores
