- Google has announced that its multimedia story-telling format Web Stories is an inner advertising function similar to the company’s global ads system
- Web Stories, which was originally named AMP Stories, struggled to meet popularity expectations at first and has taken time to grow. Before the only way to advertise with the format was to use picture and videos, both without any form of statistics to see how successful they were
- Google has said that it believes the advertisement function it will help publishers and businesses, whilst being easy to use. It is unknown at this point if this will be able to connect to, or be linked, to Googles main advertisement system
