- YouTube is set to launch a new link format that will allow for mobile app users to get links to businesses mentioned in food and drink videos.
- Before this, to link to a location mentioned in a video required manually adding a text link. With this update, it will be automatically added into videos, helping connect viewers with business quicker.
- Currently, YouTube has not announced when this feature will go live or if the feature, named ‘Places Mentioned’, will expand to more video categories in the future.
