- Twitter Canada has announced a partnership with so.da to create a new “online shopping experience” called Twitter Shops Fueled by so.da
- Using virtual pop-ups to target users with brands they may be interested in, Twitter hopes it will provide a new way for users to discover and shop for products
- Social shopping and ecommerce saw massive increases in 2020, as more people turned to online sources to shop from. Michael Palombo, Head of entertainment for Twitter Canada said “As online shopping and e-commerce continue to grow in 2021, we are thrilled to offer brands a new way to showcase their products through original content and innovative formats”.
