- 56% of those asked said that the effects of Covid-19 was what moved them to explore new ways of operating and trading as a company.
- The survey, which was conducted by Microsoft Canada, asked 670 business leaders from across the country, with company sizes ranging from small businesses to large enterprises. The aim was to see the confidence levels among Canadian businesses.
- 45% also said that their online transformation was overdue, with 66% of that group saying that waiting caused their business to suffer this year due to the closing of stores.
- Other results from the survey show that 64% of the business who have been hit badly by the pandemic are confident they will be open next year, with 51% of everybody asked said they are confident of their business getting through a second wave of Covid-19.
