- Amazon has announced it is to open two new fulfilment centres in Ontario as it seeks to keep up with the demand of ecommerce growth.
- The centres, located in Ajax and Hamilton, will employ 2,500 people and adds to Amazon’s expansion, which alresdy includes delivery stations in Scarborough, Stoney Creek and Etobicoke.
- Fueled by the increase of people shopping online, Amazon is one of several companies across Canada that is looking to meet the high demand. Despite the relaxation of some lockdown regulations, online shopping is still at a high.
