- Bank of Montreal has signed a deal with Google to offer digital chequing accounts through Google Pay
- The Toronto based company is one of 8 to join the initiative that was launched last November.
- A launch date for this service has not been announced. The move comes as Google looks to capitalize on the growth of ecommerce since the start of lockdown.
- BMO has already launched it’s own digital chequing accounts, but has turned to Google as it looks to boost its growth rate.
