• The world’s biggest online retailer announced on Monday that it is seeking to hire 100,000 new workers across Canada and the U.S. as it looks to keep up with ecommerce demand
• This news comes just after the company announced a flurry of new fulfilment centres and delivery stations across Canada, including several sights in Ontario
• Seeing a 40 per cent rise in revenue last quarter, a record in the retailer’s 26-year history, Amazon is looking to keep up with massive demand for online products and goods
• The new jobs will be split between existing sites and 100 new warehouse and operation sites the company is opening
